Do I need to sign up to buy?
No you can check out without signing up to an account. If you plan on making more orders in the future signing up to an account will make this easier. We also regularly send our account customers special offers.
I have forgotten my password, now what?
You can reset your account password with the ‘Forgotten Password’ button underneath the log in. If you are having any trouble logging in to your account email hello@hirro.co.uk for assistance.
What methods of payment are accepted?
If the item is being collected you can pay with cash, cheque, gift voucher, credit and debit card. If payment online then you can pay via direct bank transfer to our bank account or via Paypal using your PayPal balance, bank account, Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card or any debit card that displays the Visa or MasterCard logo.
How much is shipping?
Shipping to the Channel Islands and UK will be charged at a flat rate of £3.99 for orders under £30 and £5.85 for orders over £30. There is an option to upgrade to a premium postage for £6
Shipping to European Countries will be charged at a flat rate of £6.99 for orders under £30 and £14.85 for orders over £30. There is an option to upgrade to a premium postage for £7 . Shipping to the USA and Rest of the World is only available in premium postage at a rate of £17.99 for orders under £30 and £31.85 for orders over £30
How long will it take for my items to arrive?
If your items are in stock they will be dispatched within a couple of days, so should arrive within a week. If they are a ‘made to order’ item then it takes up to 3 weeks to make them and post so they should arrive within 28 days.
How do I get a refund?
We can offer an exchange or refund on any product as long as it is returned in its original packaging and in a saleable condition within 28 days of receipts. You will have to pay for any postage costs to return the item. Refunds and exchanges can also be made in our galleries.
Is your driftwood treated?
All our wood is washed and sanded. It is treated with Permethrin-based woodworm treatment if there are signs of woodworm.
Can your ceramics live outside?
We cannot guarantee they will be safe outside because ceramics are pourous however I know that some of my work has been outside around a swimming pool for several years so they should be fine.
Are all your ceramics handmade?
Yes, they’re are either hand cut from slab rolled clay or hand press moulded. They are then hand finished, hand painted and glazed.
